Desktop Support Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 desktop and IT support for end users
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and application issues
  • Handle issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals
  • Perform hardware troubleshooting, part replacement, and system upgrades
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows OS and standard applications
  • Resolve network-related issues such as LAN, Wi-Fi, and basic connectivity problems
  • Manage incident escalation and ensure resolution within SLA timelines
  • Maintain proper documentation and support reports
  • Provide on-site and remote support as required

Requirements / Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in desktop / IT support (mandatory)
  • Educational Qualification: Diploma / ITI / Any Graduation
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS and desktop hardware troubleshooting
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP)
  • Experience in system installation, configuration, and support
  • Good communication skills and customer-handling ability
  • Willingness to travel to client locations when required
