Desktop Support Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 network support for LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
  • Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability
  • Handle incident escalation, root cause analysis, and permanent fixes
  • Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for issue resolution when required
  • Maintain proper documentation, network diagrams, and support reports
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, SLAs, and security best practices
  • Provide on-site and remote network support as required

Requirements / Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in network support (mandatory)
  • Educational Qualification: Diploma / ITI / Any Graduation
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing & switching
  • Experience in network troubleshooting and configuration
  • Good communication skills and customer-handling ability
  • Willingness to travel to client locations when required
